 KARACHI: The meeting of core committee of Pakistan People’s Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement concluded here at Chief Minister House on Sunday.

The meeting agreed on introducing a new act by incorporating suitable points of local bodies system of 1979 and SLGO-2001.

The core committee meeting also reviewed in detail the list of potential administrators. The final decision in this regard is expected in the upcoming meeting to be held in the Sindh Governor House.

Provincial Minister for Local Bodies Agha Siraj Durrani, Senior Provincial Minister Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, Law Minister Ayaz Soomro and Rashid Rabbani represented the PPP while Provincial Minister for Information Technology, Raza Haroon, Wasim Aftab, Health Minister Saghir Ahmed and others attended the meeting from MQM side.
