Bar on becoming PM thrice: Hearing put off
A full-bench of the Lahore High Court was hearing the petition.
Advocates Tariq Aziz and Asghar Khan had challenged the restriction imposed during Musharraf regime, which is being heard by five-member bench headed by Justice Aijaz Ahmed Chaudhry. The petitioners pleaded that it is against the Constitution.
Deputy Attorney General told the court that Attorney General could not appear before the court because of his engagements in Quetta so the hearing be adjourned and the court put off the proceedings.
