Govt. making efforts to overcome loadshedding: Kaira
LALAMUSA: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Saturday that the government was making efforts to overcome the problem of loadshedding in the country.
Speaking during his visit to Bar Association here, he said, “We have granted freedom to press and enjoy cordial relations with judiciary.”
He assured the members of the Bar that all their genuine problems would be solved. Referring to the development of the area, he said that Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani will visit Kharian to inaugurate Sui gas project at Dunga.
The minister said that steps would be taken to accelerate the process of constructing an overhead bridge on G.T.Road and lawyers colony in the area.
He discussed various issues besides meeting with senior members of the Bar.
A large number of lawyers were present on the occasion.
