PESHAWAR: An extremist injured in a clash with security forces near Peshawar on 17th March has escaped from ICRC hospital, Geo News reported.

Five security personnel were killed when militants stormed an outpost here at Peshawar's boundary with Khyber tribal region and one attacker was injured when forces retaliated, a security official said.

The injured militant was admitted to ICRC hospital, Peshawar.

When police arrived to arrest him hospital authorities tried to refuse them but when police came later man was not present in the hospital.

Police alleged hospital management for helping terrorist escape. Police authorities have sought Foreign Office's help in seeking clarification from ICRC regarding this incident.
