Water falls to 21,000 acre feet at Tarbela, Mangla ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will witness dry weather in most areas with mercury soaring to higher level in Sindh, Geo News reported Sunday.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 41 degree Celsius in Nawabshah on Saturday.

Meantime, the reserves of usable water at Tarbela and Mangla dams were recorded at 21,000 acre feet with 4000 acre feet at Mangla Dam.

Mangla Dam receives inflow of 20,584 cusecs with outflow at 21,634 cusecs; while, the water level came down to dead level at 1040 feet.

The water inflow at Tarbela Dam was 22,200 cusecs and outflow at 35,000 cusecs with the usable water reserves at 17,000 acre feet.

Tarbela Dam was running at 16 inches above dead level of 1378 feet.

According to Met Department, the dry weather will continue into the next week also in most parts of the country and the temperature is expected to rise higher in the plains in the coming days.
