Alerted in advance about sensitivity of renaming NWFP: Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif Monday said renaming NWFP is a sensitive issue.Speaking on the current volatile situation in Abotabad, Nawaz Sharif said: “We had warned in advance that linking the renaming of NWFP with the 18th amendment was not an appropriate.”
He called for taking appropriate measures before the indignation turns into a fight and urged the Chief Minister of NWFP to play his role for restoring peace.
“I had already alerted that changing the name of the province is a sensitive and complex matter,” the PML-N Chief said.
