table 19th Amendment if required: KairaISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said new provinces should be made as per requirement and under the rules given in the Constitution.

Speaking to newsmen outside the Parliament, he said reservations of Hazara’s people would be addressed with consensus. If needed, 19th amendment could be tabled in the Parliament

Kaira said the Constitution has been cleansed of the distortions after unanimous passage of the 18th Amendment Bill.

He said the report of United Nations Commission on Benazir Bhutto’s assassination would be’ made public. He said in the light of the report, the government would take action accordingly.

To a question, Kaira said the nation was anxiously waiting for the report because Benazir Bhutto was a great and most popular leader of the country.

Kaira hoped that the commission would have got the record and information from the governments of Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and UAE because they had informed about the threats to the life of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

Replying to another question, he said the President had voluntarily transferred his powers to the Prime Minister and the Parliament. The public and media were casting doubts that the President would not do so, he added.
