ISLAMABAD: Former Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar has submitted a detailed reply of contempt of court notice issued by Supreme Court. He also filed a petition against Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry’s appointment as chief justice. Four on duty senior judges of Supreme Court Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Khalil Ramday, Justice Raja Fayyaz and Justice Chaudhry Ijaz and federation through law ministry have been nominated as opponent in the petition.

Ahmed Raza Qusoori, lawyer of former Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar has filed the petition. Dogar also filed a review petition against Supreme Court’s July 31 decision regarding November 3 emergency and PCO judges. Justice(r) Dogar’s reply comprised of 83 pages.
