Power crisis: Lahore markets to open for 4 hours only

 LAHORE: Owing to the ongoing power crisis, the Lahore administration has asked the business community to open their markets from 5pm to 9pm to save the electricity.Lahore commissioner Khusro Pervaiz made this announcement while speaking to the representatives of business community at his office. The decision, he said, has been taken to save electricity so that the loadshedding duration could be minimized. He said that wedding halls would also close at 9pm. The commissioner called upon the business community to support the government in its bid to save the electricity. |
